This color reflects traditions passed on from ancient Edo to modern-day Tokyo and the spirit of creativity that has kept Japan's largest city evolving into the present day. This model's dial color is inspired by 'Edo purple, a hue that embodies the aesthetic sensibilities of Edo period Tokyo and represents a cultural heritage to be passed on to future generations. This solar chronograph inherits from the iconic designs of the Speedtimer series from the 1960s-70s. A bi-color aluminum bezel with a tachymeter can be found on a famous and highly valued Speedtimer model from the vintage archives.
